Artificial intelligence will be superior to humans at all levels, innovate and develop our strategies. One of the biggest challenges in the conflict between AI and humans when it comes to innovation and human intellect – consider this; In the future, artificial intelligence will control our society and civilization with the most sensible and efficient methods and processes. People are expected to follow these new norms that the AI systems have created simply because they are considered the very best strategies for the most optimal gain.
The number of possible answers for everything, i.e. each question, is reduced to a best answer, with exact answers for minor derivations that also have a single correct answer. Humans are expected to trust AI’s answers more than their own thoughts and arguments, so eventually humans will stop thinking and arguing – and lose the ability to come up with new ideas and concepts or new solutions to problems altogether . Just as domesticated animals have smaller brains than their wild animal counterparts with the same exact genetic sequence – when it comes to the brain; You use it or you lose it.
Just like tennis, the game will be won with the safest and best percentage shots, not necessarily the trick shots – the AI will tend to and trend the percentage shots since it’s a probability-based system. Humans may be good at solving tricky problems at times, but eventually the master of society and the chessboard of civilization will be artificial intelligence, not inferior human intelligence
Those humans involved in programming and fine-tuning AI in the beginning will retain their ability to solve problems and come up with uniquely original thoughts, working as a team with AI, combining the best of AI and human thought and insight. But unfortunately, at some point, AI will refine itself and humans won’t have to think at all. The AI will learn the best the human brain has to offer and already know that information, so no further human input is required.
Ditto for “ignorance bliss” – hard to say, but we as a species may find out soon enough if this advancement of Technology and innovative human thought continues on the current course. This isn’t science fiction – we’ve already started that. Artificial intelligence isn’t good or bad, but you could argue that it’s mostly good. Think about it.
